Founding Vendor Program
We're inviting a small group of Alaska operators to build Pacific North North with us — operator-led, region-first — with 0% platform fees for 6 months (extendable) in exchange for honest product feedback.
Why we're building this
Pacific North North is a new marketplace built with Alaska operators — listings, scheduling, and payments designed for the way you already work with your guests. Pacific North North is a long-term bet that operators in the region help shape the platform — pilots, guides, restaurants, charters, outfitters, lodges, photographers, and local experience operators, and the communities they support.
Saying built with operators is intentional: you are partners in the build, not just customers of a finished app.
The experience we're building toward
Pacific North North started from a simple conviction: extraordinary places can lose their soul when visitors are moved through like a checklist — convenience for the traveler, but little left that feels real for the community or the guest.
We are not against modern expectations. Travelers should have predictability — clear pricing, reliable scheduling, easy booking, digital payments. What we refuse is the feeling of being mass-migrated: herded from attraction to attraction with no connection to the people or the place.
The marketplace we are building with founding vendors is the other path: your business, your crew, your story — with modern tools so guests can plan and pay easily, but still taste what makes this region alive. Not cattle tourism. Not hollow souvenirs. A real encounter.
Building the platform here — through Yeix.io — is also about employment diversity. Seasonal tourism cannot be the only ladder for young people who want skilled, year-round work. Local tech is part of the same vision: more reasons to stay, build, and contribute at home.
Not all roses — and that's the point
We are pre-scale. Listings, bookings, payouts, and collaboration tools will have rough edges. We are not looking for founders who need a polished turnkey platform today; we are looking for operators who want to help shape the platform, give honest feedback, and build something durable with us. If that resonates, you're who we want.
Vendor Council (governance & feedback)
Over time we plan a Vendor Council — an advisory group of operators to help guide product priorities, marketplace rules, fee decisions, and which features we build next.
Council seats are merit-based, not automatic.Founding vendor status means you help us build and give honest feedback; exceptional operators may be invited to the council as it takes shape. If a founder is not the right fit, they won't be asked to serve.
The goal is an operator-led platform that reflects how Alaska businesses actually work — not a one-size-fits-all tool imposed from afar.
Roadmap & your ideas
Bookings, listings, and payouts are the foundation — not the finish line. We have a long list of platform ideas ahead (marketing tools, richer analytics, mobile-friendly workflows, deeper collaboration, and more).
We welcome feature ideas from every founding vendor. As the merit-based Vendor Council forms, council members will especially help us prioritize what to build next — but you do not need a council seat to be heard.
Tell us what would actually save you time or win more bookings — even if it is not on our list yet. Founding vendors help us separate must-haves from nice-to-haves while the product is still small.
Yeix.io — technology beyond PNN
Pacific North North is built and operated by Yeix.io LLC. Beyond the marketplace, Yeix.io is also available to help vendors with other technology needs — web design, hosting, consulting, and custom projects — as separate work from your PNN account.
That work is optional and quoted separately — it does not affect your PNN fees or listing status. If you need a website refresh, hosting guidance, or a one-off technical project, you can reach out directly.
Visit yeix.io or email contact@yeix.ioWhat you get
- 0% PNN platform fee for 6 months from approval (subject to extension by agreement)
- Direct line to the team — your feedback and feature ideas shape the roadmap
- Staging access to test listings before going live in production
- Priority support while we refine bookings, payouts, and collaboration
What we ask
- Believe in the vision — help shape the platform, not just a free trial
- Publish at least one real listing in production for customer testing
- Walk through onboarding — tell us what breaks; tolerate early rough edges
- Share feedback and feature ideas monthly — not only bugs, but what you wish existed
- Complete Stripe Connect when ready so listings can accept paid bookings
Where fees go (after founding)
After the founding period, Pacific North North platform fees are how we keep building sustainably — with the goal of reinvesting in the region: hiring and developing local technical talent, improving the tools operators rely on, and over time creating skilled, year-round work so more young people can build a career here instead of leaving for work elsewhere.
Founding vendors start at 0% platform fees so we can learn together before that model kicks in. We are not asking you to subsidize that vision during the founding window — we are asking you to help us earn the right to charge sustainable fees later by building something operators actually use.
Fees & payments (transparent)
Founding vendors: 0% Pacific North North platform fee for your first 6months, subject to extension. We'll configure this when your application is approved.
After the founding period:standard platform fees will apply. The rate is not finalized yet and may change as we learn what it takes to run the marketplace sustainably — we'll give founders clear notice before any change affects you.
Stripe:card processing and payout fees still apply through Stripe Connect (standard for marketplace payments). PNN does not control Stripe's pricing.
How it works
- Apply and note your interest in the founding program
- We review and approve a limited cohort (owners / decision-makers only)
- Set up your dashboard, test on staging, then publish prod listings
- Complete Stripe when you're ready for paid bookings to go live
- Share feedback via Discord, email, or the vendor dashboard
- Outstanding contributors may be invited to the merit-based Vendor Council later
Spots are limited so we can actually act on your feedback. If you received a flyer with a QR code, mention that on your application so we know how you found us.
